Obituary
Ellis Evan Kinard, age 62 of Pyatt, Arkansas, passed away there Friday, Feb. 2, 2007. The son of Evan Braxton and Lula (Nipper) Kinard, was born Feb. 23, 1944 at Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and moved to this area in 1983 from Okeechobee, FL. He attended Faith Assembly of God Church in Harrison.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Laraine Kinard; brothers, Riley and Calvin Kinard and Mose and Sam Joiner.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Jean (Ivey) Kinard, whom he married June 22, 1962; one son, Carlton "Choch" Kinard and wife, Karen of Harrison; one daughter, Erika N. Houston and husband, Patrick of Pyatt; one brother, Robert Joiner of Okeechobee, FL; two sisters, Anna Smith and Lorene Watford both of N. Ft. Myers, FL; 4 grandchildren, Kali and Cade Kinard, Sarah Grace Houston and Tish Holt; and two great grandchildren, Sheldon and Tatum Holt.
Memorial Service will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, February 6, 2007, Faith Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Arlis Thrasher officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family to help defer expenses.
Cremation and arrangements are by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
