Heffley
August 7, 1931 – January 2, 2022
E L Heffley was born on August 7th, 1931 at Mt. Judea, AR, to Elmer Lester Hefley and Mertle Viola (Heffley) Hefley. He died peacefully at his home in Little Rock, AR on Sunday, January 2 nd, 2022 at the age of 90 Years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Haynes-Heffley, and four brothers: Lester, Custer, Russell, and Athel Hefley and three sisters: Wilsie Cook, Lois Sain, and Gussie Nichols.
He is survived by one son, Mark David Heffley. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces. He also has many close friends and caretakers that will miss him and mourn his passing.
He is a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
El Was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and served as an Elder in the congregation. He also served on the hospital Liaison Committee in Little Rock for about 35 years. He will be missed by many.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Tarlton Cemetery in Lurton, AR. with Gregory Smith Jr. officiating. Arrangements are by Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper, Ar.
Pallbearers will be Travis Heffley, Clayton Heffley, Luke Heffley, Johnny Sain Jr., Dennis Sain Jr., and Jason E. Freeman.
Honorary pallbearers are Bill Hefley, Charley Heffley, Dennis Sain, Brinkley Cook-Campbell, and Billy Cheatham.
