Obituary

E.G. Campbell, age 74 of Jasper, Arkansas, passed away, November 22, 2021 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR.

The son of Carroll and Iva (Collins) Campbell was born March 10, 1947 in Red Rock, AR.

E.G. is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Carolyn Yevette Campbell; his brothers, Larry, Jimmy, Bobby, Timmy, and Tommy Campbell; his granddaughter, Jayden Alexis Harrison; his sister, Ruth Sanders; his mother-in-law, Viola Smith; his brothers-in-law, Arlis and wife Betty Smith, Jerry Robinette, James Smith, and Doyle Reddell; and his sister-in-law, Francis Whiteley.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching football. He loved going camping with his grandchildren and watching their basketball games.

He lived in Jasper most of his life working in the timber industry.  He married Carolyn on July 23, 1966.

E.G. is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue (Smith) Campbell of the home; his son Joshua Campbell and his wife Ashley of Jasper; his brothers Ed Campbell and his wife Jane of Ozark, AR, Lessley Campbell and his wife Theresa of Vendor, AR, Ronnie (Hot Rod) Campbell and his wife Gail of Jasper, and Rondal Campbell of Mt. Judea, AR; his sisters, Ineva Morgan of Hasty, AR and Deborah Hathaway and her husband Herb of Pelsor, AR; 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Janessa Campbell and their mother, Christy Watson; his sisters-in-law, Judy Mallett of Ben Hur, AR, Ruth Harmon of Tilley, AR, Loretta Phillips and husband, Henry, and Emma Reddell; a special niece, Delonda Farmer of Peel, AR; and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, November 26, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Piercetown Holiness Church with Pastor Steven Holt officiating.  Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery in Vendor.

Pallbearers will be Geary Robinette, Jared Wheeler, Michael Phillips, Dwayne Farmer, Jesse Campbell, and Ryan Campbell.

Honorary pallbearers are E.G.'s Brothers, Sisters, Friends, and Family.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Rosson, and Nurse Tiffany, Kimberly and Angela and NARMC.
