Obituary
Edwin Lewis Fiers, age 71 of Harrison, AR passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The son of Emil and Dessie (Green) Fiers was born April 10, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MI. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as Staff Sergeant and was a member of New Covenant Faith Center in Independence, MO. He had lived in Harrison for a year, having moved from Independence.
His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Charleen (Fulton) Fiers of the home; son, Abraham Fiers, also of the home, daughters, Robin, Carrie, Stephanie, Naomi, Hannah, and Esther; step-son, Jeremy; step-daughter, Lynn; brothers, Charles Fiers and Bob Fiers; sisters, Arlene, Betty, and Marie; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeremy Wayne, Brenna, Hailey, Oliver, Jr., Zechariah, and Annalise; and great grandchildren, Andrew and Gabriella.
Visitation 5-8 P.M. Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Service 2 P.M. Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Kevin Rogers officiating. Military and committal services will be 1 P.M. Friday, September 21, 2007 at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, AR. Military Honors are being provided by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard, Little Rock, AR.
Memorials may be made to Bellefonte Revival Center c/o Sue Hudson.
