Edward Lee Trowbridge, age 70 of Harrison, AR passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR.

The son of Franklin and Lucy Love (Billings) Trowbridge was born October 14, 1936 in Vine Grove, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Ragan; his brothers, Frank Trowbridge, Jr. and David Trowbridge; and a daughter, Fran Love Trowbridge.

Edward was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a repairman for Stanilaus Electric Motor Company. He had lived in this area since 1978, having moved from California, and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are his wife, JoAnn Trowbridge of the home; children, Eddie Trowbridge and his wife, Freda of St. Peters, MO, James Trowbridge of North Carolina, Pam Brown and her husband, Jimmy of Pyatt, AR, and Deborah Trowbridge of Harrison; sisters and brothers, Sarah Crowe of Harrison, Katie Odom and her husband, Johnny of North Carolina, Harold Trowbridge and his wife, Nellie of Florida, Larry Trowbridge and his wife, Betty of Georgia, and John Trowbridge and his wife, Judy of Mississippi; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer Ross and husband, Michael, Jonathan and Kourtnie Trowbridge, Bryan Brown and wife, Kimberly, Justin Brown and wife, Amber, and Jeremy Brown, Andrew and Kristal Trowbridge, C.W. and Matthew Pulis, and James Rubio; and three great grandchildren, Tara Ross, Nathan and Brooklyn Brown.

Viewing and visitation was held Saturday, December 23, at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Cremation to follow with a memorial service at a later date at the Fayetteville Veteran's National Cemetery.
