Obituary
Edward H. Nelson, age 88, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009 in the Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 2, 1920 in Bruno, AR to P. M. and Una Pearl (Baker) Nelson.
He was a dairy farmer, cattleman, rancher and farmer. He was a great man that loved his family very much.
His parents preceded him in death along with one brother, Earl Nelson and one sister, Olieta Roderick.
On November 18, 1940, Edward married Ellen Lowery in LeMoore, CA. She survives him along with two sons, Bobby Nelson, Steve and wife, Charlotte Nelson all of Sulphur Springs, TX; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday, April 15, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Bruno Cemetery in Bruno, Arkansas with Bro. David Shekels officiating.
Pallbearers were Jim Bob Nelson, Jeff Nelson, Weston Dorn, Tom Nelson, Kilie Nelson and Ross Davidson.
