Edna Mae Nix, of Marion Iowa, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the home of her daughter, Dianna Waters in Jasper, AR.

The daughter of Edward and Elnora (Kitto) Loseau was born August 1, 1931 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Edna worked at Collins in Cedar Rapids for 27 years.  She enjoyed doing crafts and scrap booking with family and friends.  She also loved going on cruises and trips with her children and grandchildren.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Junior C. Nix of 37 years, her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Gail Nix of Marion, IA; her daughter Catherin Mullins of Blue Grass, IA; 3 brothers, Harry Loseau, Ted and Ivan Beetem; 7 sisters, Rose, Violet and Audrey Beetem, Eva, Mary, Nellie and Helen Loseau; one grandson; and 3 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Michael Smith and his wife Thelma of Harrison, AR; her daughter, Dianna Waters and her husband Richard of Jasper, AR; her son-in-law, Virgil Mullins of Blue Grass, IA; 15 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews she loved dearly.  She will be missed by all that new her.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Murdoch Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Thursday prior to the service.
