Edna L. Madsen, age 77 of Harrison, passed away Friday, March 7, 2008 at the Golden Living Hilltop Nursing Center.
The daughter of Edgar and Edna L. (Enyart) Little, was born March 22, 1930 at Strong City, Oklahoma. She was a health care giver and had lived here most of her life. She attended the Church of the First Born. Edna enjoyed quilting, sewing, artistic painting, and spending quality time with her grandchildren at the park, river and other fun places.
Most of all, she's remembered by her family for the love she gave them and to others.
Her beloved parents preceded her in death along with one son, Danny Morris; one brother, "Lucky" Little; and three grandchildren.
Survivors are her husband of 54 years, Ted Madsen of the home; one son, Robert Morris and wife, Andrea of California; four daughters, Cindy Landis and husband, Rob of California, Jeannette Madsen of Oklahoma, Marcy Fenn and husband, Robert of Springfield, MO, and Roberta Stout and husband, Thomas of Harrison; five sisters, Norma, Karen, Ann, Betty and Sharon; 27 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Service was Monday, March 10, 2008 at Coffman Chapel with visitation prior to the service. Burial was in Maple Leaf Cemetery with Richard Rambo officiating.
Pallbearers were, Aaron and Jason Jack, Matthew, Bryan, Phillip and Jacob Rule. Honorary pallbearers were Danny, Michael and Paul.
