Obituary
Edna Holt, age 89 of Vendor, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 19, 2009 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
She was born December 25, 1919 at Vendor, the daughter of Dave and Dullie (Reddell) Middleton. She was a homemaker and a life time resident of Newton County. She was of the Assembly of God faith.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with her husband, Wayne Holt; three sons, Stanley Holt, Dennis Holt, and Glen Holt; three brothers, Vergie Middleton; Otto Middleton, and Dallas Middleton; four sisters, Bertha Brown, Alice Hefley, Marie Middleton, and Maggie Middleton. Her great-granddaughter, Laken Holt, also preceded her in death.
Survivors are two daughters, Joyce Dodson and Shelia Sisco and husband, Wayne, all of Harrison; four brothers, Conard Middleton of Deer, Eathel Middleton of Harrison, Carl Middleton of Deer, and Ken Middleton of Missouri; one sister, Caroline Price of Harrison; two special daughters-in-law, Bobbie Holt and Valerie Holt, both of Vendor; a dear sister-in-law, Oleta Haddock of Vendor; nine grandchildren, Roxanna Holt, Randy Holt, Jimmy Holt, Nicky Holt, Steven Holt, Robbie Dodson, Chasity Henderson, Tiffany Plumlee, and April Brown; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Services were Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the funeral home chapel with Steven Holt officiating. Arlis Smith was the vocalist. Burial followed in Smith Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons and honorary pallbearers were granddaughters.
