Edna Alice Duck, age 86 of Jasper, AR, formerly of Bass, AR, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2007 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR.
The daughter of Clarence and Rosetta (Gale) Pellham, was born August 18, 1921 at Hurrican Creek in Newton County. She had been a lifelong resident of Newton County, was a homemaker, and was a member of Lurton Assembly of God Church.
Her parents preceded her in death; her husband, Austin Duck; three brothers, Delmer, Tom, and Granville Pellham; and a sister, Lillie Freeman.
Survivors include her three sisters, Ruth Reddell of Pelsor, Ida McGinnis of Bass, and Bonnie Smith of Berryville; three sisters-in-law, Fannie Mae Pellham of Dover, Dorothy Aliff of Russellville, and Margaret Bartle of Bass; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation was open at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Graveside service was held Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at McCutcheon Cemetery at Bass with Stanley Taylor officiating. Pallbearers were Finis Freeman, Johnny Freeman, Bill Ralph, and Mike McClelland.
