Edna Fay Criss, age 62 years, 7 months and 7 days, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Johnson County Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, Arkansas.
The daughter of Levi "Lee" and Stella (Cummins) Criss was born on August 7, 1948 at Cave Mountain, Arkansas in Newton County.
She was of the Baptist faith, a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Newton County.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Polly Criss; one brother, Arthur Criss; three nephews, Jeffery Criss, Bobby Swafford and Jack Swafford and one niece, Brenda Criss.
Survivors are four brothers, Eugene Criss of Oark, Arkansas, Ernest Criss of Ozone, Arkansas; Frank Criss of Pettigrew, Arkansas and J.E. Criss of Ozone, Arkansas; three sisters, Elizabeth Swafford of Pettigrew, Arkansas, Mamie Wages of Huntsville, Arkansas and Linda Moulder of Pettigrew, Arkansas;
one aunt, Rosie Cummins and one uncle, Johnnie Aaron Criss; six nieces, fifteen nephews and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews and other family and friends.
Funeral services were Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Cave Mountain Church with Rev. Carl Sory officiating. Burial was in Cave Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
Visitation was Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers were Dale Moulder, Mike Moulder, Leslie Moulder, Dustin Criss, Sam Fields and Michael Wages. Honorary pallbearers were all her nephews.
