Edith Vaughn, age 94 of Pindall, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
The daughter of Joseph and Mary Alice (Holt) Bradley was born August 21, 1919 in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas.
Edith was a member of United Pentecostal Church of Pindall and was an active member of the Stepping Stone Club. She also was a school teacher for 25 years at St. Joe and taught at various other schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Coy Vaughn; five brothers; two sisters; and a son-in-law, Don Brown.
Survivors are her daughters, Jacqueline Brown of Marshall and Geraldine Harris and husband Denver of Pindall; five grandchildren, Denver Harris, Jr., Shirley Ann Harris, Sandra Brown, Anita Gail Cox, and Karen Brown; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Wednesday, March 5,2014 with the funeral service Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Coffman Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Darvin Rainbolt officiating.
Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with pallbearers being Denny Harris, Michael Kirkham, Joshua Farnsworth, Jonathan Farnsworth, Mark Cox, and Joshua Cox.
Honorary pallbearers were the staff and employees of Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
