Edith Marie Johnson, longtime resident of Newton County, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 14, 2017 at NARMC in Harrison at the age of 84.

The daughter of Marvin and Nellie (Bolin) Johnson was born March 6, 1933 at Cave Creek, Arkansas.

Edith lived her life by the Holy Bible's commandments and promises. She was always quick to give testimony when the Lord fulfilled a promise to her; showing her that He would always take care of His faithful servants. She will be remembered for her strong faith in the Lord and unwavering prayer warrior heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Karen Campbell and several siblings.

Edith is survived by her children, Jim Bass, Cindy Perry, Lana Hagenbucher and Susan Smith; her grandchildren, Mike Free, Tammy Free, Brandon McCutcheon, Justin McCutcheon, Cody McCutcheon, Charm Smith, Stacey Sirmons, Nikki Smith, Alexa Hagenbucher and Ryan Hagenbucher, Jimmy Bass, Joe Bass, Christina Bass and Christopher Bass; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives who loved her and will miss her.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 17, 2017 at Mount Judea Church with Bro. Wesley Ricketts officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Vendor.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Sunday at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Pallbearers are Cody McCutcheon, Justin McCutcheon, Brandon McCutcheon, Ryan Hagenbucher, Mike Free, Drake Free and Adam Sirmons.
