Obituary
Edith Mae Davenport, age 84 of Harrison, passed away Sat. August 1, 2009 at Hospice House in Harrison. The daughter of Earl A. and Nina (Adams) Ezell, she was born May 31, 1925 at Bruno, Arkansas.
She worked for schools in food preparation and enjoyed gardening and reading. She was also a member of the Western Grove Church of Christ.
Her parents preceded her in death along with her first husband, Ernie Roark; two brothers, Earl Ezell, Jr. and John Ezell.
Survivors include her husband, Victor Davenport or the home; a son, Vernie Gail Roark of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Edith Irene Byrne and husband Geroge of Ponder, Texas, and Valora Roark of Harrison; her oldest brother, Rick Ezell of Kansas; two sisters, Margarette Berry of Kansas and Connie Fleckenstein of Texas; 6 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 4th, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Jim Gaskill officiating. Committal Services will be held at Memory Gardens of San Luis Valley, Monte Vista, Colorado. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service 1-2 PM Tuesday.
