Obituary

Earl Wayne Ryan went to join his heavenly Father, Friday, October 30, 2015. He was at home surrounded by family and friends.

Earl was born March 30, 1924 in Lincoln County, Kansas. After retiring from the United States Navy in January, 1963, he moved to the Lead Hill, Arkansas area where he raised purebred red hogs and cut timber. Later he raised cattle. On December 25, 1974, he was united in marriage to Therese Davis. No children were born to this union. They ran the Lead Hill Café for several years before farming full time.

Earl was an avid supporter of the Lead Hill School and Lead Hill Saddle Club. He was an active member of the VFW and American Legion. Earl was beloved and respected member of the community and will be greatly missed by all.

He was proceeded in death by his wife Therese; parents Bert and Rose Ryan; sisters: Lee Anna Wallace, Jeanie Spear, and Frances David; brothers: Donald, Kenneth, and Keith; and two nephews.

He is survived by sisters, Bonnie Kissick and Mary Lou Hoag; brothers, Gary, Richard and his wife Gladys, and Herbert and his wife Danne, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, AR with Pastor Caroll Johnson officiating.
