Earl Benjamin Hunt, age 79 of Harrison, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Hospice House in Harrison.
The son of Clint and Maud (Coleman) Hunt was born September 24, 1932 in Hunter, Arkansas.
Earl was a member of the Bergman Baptist Fellowship Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and woodworking. He loved his pets, especially his dog, Gizmo, and he loved the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Georgia Mae Hunt; daughter, Evelyn Marie Hunt; brother, Wayne Hunt; and his sister, Doris Williams.
He is survived by his sons, Doyle Hunt and wife Leslie of Harrison, Kenneth Hunt of Harrison and John Hunt and wife Barbara of Omaha, AR.; daughters, Dianne Hanson of Peel, AR, and Natalie Fuller of TN; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Visitation was Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Funeral service was Thursday, November 3, 2011 both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Danny McMullen officiating. Burial was in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Hunt, David Hunt, John Hunt, Kyle Berry, Adam O'Brain and Herbert O'Brain.
Honorary pallbearers are Jennifer Keele, Dr. Charles Klepper and staff, Dr. Tina Murphy, and Hospice of the Hills Hospice House and staff.
