Earl H. Gilliam, age 76 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at his home.
The son of Oliver Winslow and Osa Alice (Weller) Gilliam was born February 4, 1936 in Kennett, Missouri.
Earl had served in the U.S. Army and was a Mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He especially enjoyed being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Glenda Gilliam; brothers and sisters, Edward Gilliam, W.M. Gilliam, Albert Gilliam, Barbara Snay, Alvin Gilliam, and Rosie McInturff.
Survivors are his children, JoAnn Gilliam of California; Larry Gilliam and wife Janice of Harrison, Rhonda Parker and husband James of Missouri, Tina Dobbins and Dean Matthews of Springfield, Missouri, and David Gilliam and wife De Ann of Marble Falls, Arkansas; sisters, Billie Jean Gregory of Kennett, Missouri, Pat Wease of Kennett, Missouri, Lorettia Vela and husband Greg of Moses Lake, Washington, Juanita Bennett and husband John of Senath, Missouri, and Sue Akes of Kennett, Missouri; six grandchildren, Angel Gilliam, Tiffany Alge and husband Charles, Rebekah Gross and husband John, Hannah Metcalf, Stephanie Dobbins, and Nathan Metcalf; and six great granchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 with service 2 P.M. Thursday, January 3, 2013 both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrson. Rev. Coma Rivers will officiate.
Burial will follow in York Cemetery with pallbearers being David Gilliam, Larry Gilliam, Dean Matthews, Nathan Metcalf, Charles Alge, and Jim Jennings.
