Marshall "Dwayne" Smith, age 39 of Harrison, passed away Thursday, April 3, at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville. He was born November 2, 1974 in Harrison to Marshall "Butch" Smith and Anne (Brown) Evans. He was a lifelong resident of Harrison. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and gardening. One of his favorite past-times included sitting around a camp fire at horse camp with his uncle "Bear" and friends. A kid at heart himself, he related well as a  special Unkie "D" to his niece and nephews.

Visitation was Monday, April 7, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home and the celebration of life was Tuesday, April 8, 2014 with Pastor Heath Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial  followed at White Church Cemetery in Harrison

. Pallbearers were Rick Evans, Tony Evans, Mike Evans, Andy Due, Chad Beaver, and Bill Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Charles Klepper, Dr. Ali Abdelaal, Priscilla, and Allison.

He was preceded in death by his father "Butch" and his dad, Rodney Evans. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Anne Evans of the home; a son, Owen McCutcheon of Harrison;  four sisters, Shelly Due and husband, Andy, Cathy Beaver and husband, Chad both of Harrison, Jessica Smith and husband, Cody, and Ashley Allison and husband, Clay, both of Hot Springs; three brothers, Rick Evans and wife Wanda, Tony Evans and wife, Pam, and Mike Evans, all of Harrison. Also surviving him are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Woodland Heights Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
