Obituary
Dwane J. Edmonson, age 69 of Everton, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Oliver Edmonson and Judy (Lair) Speights, he was born November 28, 1939 in Harrison, Arkansas.
Dwane had lived most of his life in this area and was a member of Ozark Baptist Church. He enjoyed his hot rod pickup and spending time with his grandchildren.
His father preceded him in death, along with his half brother, Buster Speights.
Survivors are his wife, Connie (Wood) Edmonson of the home; his children, James Edmonson and wife, Cora Kay of Bergman, Dale Edmonson of Everton, and Shannon Payne and husband, Michael of Harrison; mother, Judy Speights of Mt. Judea, Arkansas; brothers, David Edmonson and Dwight Edmonson both of California; sister, Barbara Castleberry of Ozark, Missouri; and five grandchildren, Cheyene, Thomas, Tessa, Kyle, and Cady.
Visitation was Monday, April 20, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Services were Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the funeral home chapel with James Fancher officiating.
Burial followed in York Cemetery at Bergman with pallbearers being Michael Payne, Danny Wally, James Matlock, Darrell Patton, Mike Boyd, and Cole Patton. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. John Leslie and the staff of Hospice of the Hills.
