Obituary

Dwain King, age 72 of Bellefonte, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.

The son of Verl and Lillian (Robinson) King was born April 10, 1942 in Everton, Arkansas.

Dwain proudly served his community as the owner and operator of King's Floor Covering for 44 years; as a Bellefonte City Councilman for 34 years; and as a former Valley Springs School Board Member. Dwain loved the Lord with all the passion and devotion that he demonstrated for his family, and he attended and loved Crossroads Community Church. His favorite past time was spending time with his grandchildren, whether it be at their ballgames, hunting, school events or just hanging out at the house. He loved a good roping horse, playing cards, buying and selling various things and always enjoyed meeting and making new friends. He was the ultimate family man; he was happiest when surrounded by family! Dwain was equally loved and respected by his wife, children and grandchildren. Along with Juanita, they raised their family with love, respect, integrity and admiration, all driven by their love of the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his mother and father-in-law, Ralph and Josie Wilburn.

Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Juanita (Wilburn) King of the home; children, Debbie Sheehan and husband, Paul of Springfield, Missouri, Brad King and wife, Stephanie of Harrison, and Brent King and wife, Sara of Bellefonte; grandchildren, Sydnee King, Riley King, Cooper King, Bodie King, and Landrey King; brothers, Robert King and wife, Kathy of Springfield, Missouri, Dennis King of Harrison, and Gary King and wife, Tammy of Harrison; and sister-in-law, Judy King of Harrison.
