Hiram Dudley Glass, of Harrison, AR passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, at the age of 93.

The son of Hiram D. and Maude (Huff) Glass was born September 11, 1913 in St. Louis, MO. His parents preceded him in death, along with his wife, Ellen Glass and a grandson, Charlie W. Robinson.

Dudley was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where he loved his pastor and his church. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a carrier, and was a coin and stamp collector. He started collecting stamps when he was 12 years old. He was a big sports fan. His favorites being the Goblins (he was a member of the "Old Goblins"), the Razorbacks, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Dudley was young at heart and enjoyed life.

Survivors are his daughters, Linda Sue Glass and Mary Ann Robinson and her husband, Charles W. Robinson, all of Harrison; step-children, Connie James of Marshall and Jim Horton of Tulsa, OK; granddaughters, Magen Harris of San Francisco, CA and Sheila Collins of Harrison; and great granddchildren, Jackie Collins, Chelsey Robinson, Chloe Robinson, and Eric Carter.

Visitation was Sunday, February 11, Service was Monday, at the First United Methodist Church in Harrison with Pastor John Darnell officiating. Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Robinson, Jack Rose, John Prater, Carl Hudson, Fred Durrough, Lynn Richardson, and Richard Williams.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Kevin Jackson, Dr. Victor Chu, Alberta Tyer, and the coffee drinkers at Ruby's Place.
