Doyle Eugene McEntire, age 87, of Western Grove, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Highland Court Nursing and Rehab in Marshall. 

The son of Ruel and Delphia (Delk) McEntire was born near Richland on November 6, 1938. He has lived in Newton County most of his life. He worked at Claridge Products for 39 years before retiring. 

Doyle loved to hunt, fish, and camp. He was an avid outdoorsman and found ways to spend time outside year-round. He enjoyed woodworking. Doyle was always known to have immaculately clean cars and a tidy yard that was always perfectly mowed. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Charlene McEntire in 2022; two sons, David Lee McEntire and Dale Eugene McEntire; a grandson, Terry Dale McEntire; twin infant granddaughters, Avery and Melissa; a brother, Buel McEntire, and a sister, Burnell Hendrix. 

Doyle is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Rita McEntire and Stephen and Shannon McEntire; his daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and James Lockhart; daughter-in-law, Danita McEntire; a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Bennie McEntire; five grandchildren, Amy, Trista, Brandon, Serenity, and Brentley; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Jake Phillips and Herbert Phillips; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Ragland, Sue Snow, Sheila Threet, and Anna Little; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended relatives. 

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Western Grove Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. 

There is no visitation. 

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
