Obituary
Buster King, age 92 of Jasper, AR passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Newton County Nursing Home, in Jasper.
The son of Charlie and Millie (Harrison) King, was born July 8, 1915 at Murray, AR.
He was a lifelong resident of Newton County and had worked in the timber industry. He was a member of Lone Beach United Baptist Church.
His parents preceded him in death, along with his wife, Bertha (Flippo) King; an infant son; and a grandson, Nathan King.
Survivors are his three sons, Roger King, of Jasper, Donnie King, of Batavia, and Harold King, of Wayton; his two daughters, Nancy Villines, of Yellville and Linda Coffey, of Jasper; one brother, Ervin King, of Nail; one sister, Bertie Taylor, of the Newton County Nursing Home, in Jasper; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Service was held Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Coffman Chapel with Bobby Young, James Compton, and Billy Paul Matlock officiating. Burial will be in Snow Cemetery at Wayton.
