Dorothy Leona Willms, age 92 of Deer, AR, passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at her home.

The daughter of Benjamin an Olive (McMullen) Ames was born May 6, 1928 in Peoria, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Willms; son, Steve Willms; daughter, Beth Roberts; granddaughters Halie Lynn Willms and Dora Ellen Fennell; a great-grandson, Dominic Lee Holenda and brothers, Bob Ames, Dick Ames and Jim Ames.

Dorothy married Harold Willms August 21, 1948 in Peoria, Illinois. They were married for almost 56 years before he passed on May 26, 2004.

She enjoyed cooking and driving around in the fall looking at the colorful trees.  She was very stern and set in her ways but she was a wonderful MOM.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Randy Willms of Pierce City, MO, Tom Willms of Jasper, Stan Willms of Deer, and Harold "Bunk" Willms of Deer; her daughters, Ginny Cutbirth of Galena, MO, Lori Murphy of Galena, MO, Cindy Soole of Jasper, and Olive "Ollie" Eastom of Seagoville, TX; 32 grandchildren,  68 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Baker of Peoria, Illinois and a sister-in-law Eleanor Barthell of Peoria, Illinois.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Friday, October 30, 2020 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, AR.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Curtis Cemetery in Limestone, AR with Pastor Bill Counts officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dalton Willms, Dylan Willms, Dustin Willms, Stanley Willms, James Murphy, and David Fennell.

Honorary pallbearers are Logan Murphy, Kevin Fennell, Aaron Willms, Philip Willms, Ted Roberts and David Lynch.
