Obituary

Dorothy Myles passed from this life January 12, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The daughter of Ernest and Lela Holmes was born in Bellefonte, Arkansas on January 2, 1921.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrison, where she taught the Greta Pinkston Sunday School Class for many years.

She was also a member of Town and Country Garden Club, and a former member of Chi Sigma Sorority. She was a hospital Pink Lady volunteer at NARMC.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Harley Myles; and a sister, Modena Morris and her husband, Floyd.

She most recently resided at Burgundy Place in Tulsa.

Survivors are her two sons, Phil Myles and wife, Linda of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Steve Myles and wife, Trish of Edmond, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Reese Myles and wife, Kim of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Megan Owen and husband, Arron of Edmond, Oklahoma, Stephane Crane and husband, Canaan of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Carrie Myles of Shawnee, Oklahoma; three great-grandsons, Tyler and Zach Myles and Clayton Owen; and four great-granddaughters, Ally and Dru Owen and Ainsley and Elinor Crane.

Cremation arrangements were handled in Tulsa.

Memorial Service was Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Harrison. Rev. Robert Shaddox officiated.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
