Obituary
Dorothy Marie Morris, age 71 of McKinney, Texas, passed away Friday, May 14, 2010 at her home.
The daughter of Henry Olan Bowman and Versie Mae (Meadows) Bowman was born October 26, 1938 in Cherokee County, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her children, Little Eddie and Hank Morris; and one grandchild, Jimmy Dale Thornton.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband, Edward Morris of the home; her daughters and sons-in-law, Debra Sue and Gary Wood of Harrison and Elena and Steve Lewis of McKinney, Texas; her brother, Edward Allen Bowman of Niceville, Florida; her sisters, Ellen Anderson of Rossville, Georgia, Elizabeth Burrow of Ooltewah, Tennessee, and Joan Beck of Sand Mountain, Alabama; seven grandchildren and 3 and a half great grandchildren.
Funeral Service was Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Bobby Brown officiating. Burial followed in Davidson Cemetery in Harmon, Arkansas. Visitation was Monday May 17, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Steve Lewis, Clark Lewis, John Pearson, John Pettey, John David Harris, Justin Thornton. Honorary Pallbearers were friends and family.
