Dorothy Milam, age 87 of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Thursday May 14, 2015 in Republic Missouri.

The daughter of Richard and Hazel (Casto) Sullins was born on March 13, 1928 in Witt Springs, Arkansas.

Dorothy enjoyed watching any activity her family was involved in, was a member of Capps Full Gospel Church and was a loving and generous woman who served the Lord. Her main goal in life was to be a good Christian role model for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dorse Milam; one son, Lynn Milam; and one brother, Earl Sullins.

She is survived by one son, Deryl Milam and wife Karen of Republic, Missouri; one brother, Denver Sullins and wife Winifred of Harrison, Arkansas; two sisters, Bonnie Deaton and husband Joe of Valley Springs, Arkansas and Nellie Lamb of Jasper, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Stephanie Mochamer, Karla Hillen, Dara Compton, Casey Milam, Lance Milam and Mendie Milam; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will mourn her passing.

Services were held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 10:00 am at Coffman Chapel in Harrison. Visitation was Sunday May 17, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers were Deryl Milam, Lance Milam, Casey Milam, Timmy Miller, Tim Flippo and Michael Hillen. Honorary pallbearer is Gary Milam.
