Obituary
Dorothy Mae Martin, age 94, of Harrison, passed away on January 19, 2008 at North Ark. Regional Medical Center. The daughter of Samuel and Rebecca Lucinda (Crownover) Gay was born July 11, 1913 at Lutie, Missouri. She was a long time employee of Levi Strauss Company in Harrison and was a member of the Bellefonte Apostolic Church.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas (Tom) Martin; a son, Albert Martin; two daughters, Vonnie Trammell and Mary Ann Rogers; two grandsons and one infant great- great grandson.
She is survived by two sons, Norman and Ken Martin both of Harrison; four daughters, Joyce Reed of Harrison, Bonita Kellam of Kaw City, OK, Barbara Barkley of DeValls Bluff, AR and Jeannie Beckwith of Green Forest; 25 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison on Monday, Jan. 21st, 2008. Service was Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008 at the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made in her memory to a favorite charity.
