Obituary
Dorothy L. Fitch, age 89 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday October 11, 2018 in Harrison.
The daughter of Walter and Nora (Lane) Murphy was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas on May 27, 1929.
Dorothy was an avid gardener and had a special talent at growing flowers and vegetables. She also loved going to church and enjoyed the fellowship there.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Fitch; her grandson, Kelly Fitch and her brother, Larry Murphy.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Robert Michael Fitch and wife Patricia of Bergman, Arkansas; a daughter, Marilyn De La Hunt of Harrison; a brother, Charles Murphy of Florida; 3 sisters, Lois Strawn of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Kathleen Strawn of Cabot, Arkansas and Gladys Cline of Harrison; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Rodney Stromlund officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow the service at Milam Cemetery on Silver Valley Road in Harrison.
Pallbearers include John Atkinson, Steve Atkinson, Jeff Atkinson, Carl Rine, Garrett Rine and Ray Clayborn. Honorary pallbearers include Bud Atkinson and Gary Villines.
