Obituary
Dorothy M. Ballard, age 87 of Jasper, passed away Friday, July 7, 2006 at NARMC in Harrison. The daughter of Scott and Anna May (Nelson) Martin, was born Dec. 26, 1918 at Madisonville, Kentucky. She moved to this area from Indianapolis, IN in 1970, was a very caring person and raised several children.
Those that preceded her in death were her husband, James Owen Ballard; 2 sons, William and Danny Ballard; infant twin boys and one daughter, Beverly Ballard.
Cremation arrangements were made. Memorial Service was Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Survivors are five sons, Albert, Randall, and Joe "Hippie" Ballard all of Jasper, Steven and Arvin Ballard both of Indianapolis, Indiana; 2 daughters, Terie Ballard of Jasper and Phyllis "Chris" Reed of Calif.; one brother, Clinton Martin of W. Plains, MO; 30 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren and 3 great- great-great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
