Doris Kay Korba, age 66 of Harrison, AR, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, May 24, 2024 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, AR.

The daughter of Calvin and Judith Bolin and Loretta Rosamond Rogers, was born on October 16, 1957 in Kansas City, MO.  She lived many places, but the majority of her life was lived in her beloved home of Newton County, AR.  She had a strong Pentecostal faith and praised her God during her most joyful and painful moments.  She loved to preach to you when given the opportunity.

Doris is preceded in death by her Father, Calvin Bolin, and her Mother, Loretta Rogers.

Doris is survived by her Stepmother Judith Bolin, three daughters, Melissa Cross (Michael), Stephanie Smith, and Judy Ward.  She is survived by nine grandchildren, Natalia Ewing (Jim), Tina Cross, Travis Cross, Layton Smith, Calvin Smith (Maddie), Ethan Ballstadt, Adalyn Barber, Karlee Campbell, and Aubrey Campbell.  She is survived by one Great Grandchild, Sophia Ewing.

Doris is also survived by her siblings, Jimmy Bolin (Rena), Robert Bolin, Donald Rogers (Carrie), Donna Humphrey (Dale), Darlene Shaddox (Scott), Darald Rogers and Denise Graves.

Doris also leaves many other family members and friends that will greatly mourn her passing.

Doris worked hard in construction in her early life.  She loved to do anything outdoors, but she particularly loved camping and campfires.  She took any opportunity she had to sit around a campfire with those dear to her and enjoy the lovely night stars and creatures stirring.
Doris loved her family.  Her heart would lift when seeing them or speaking of them.  She would have done anything for them and would have done so with a smile on her beautiful, sweet face.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 30, 2024 and the Funeral will be Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10:00 AM.  Both will be held at Piercetown Holiness Church in Piercetown, AR.  Doris will then be laid to rest at Mount Judea Cemetery next to her beloved and missed Great Grandmother, Mammie Flud.
