Doris Edna Darter, age 74, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at The Springs of Harrison.

The daughter of Homer Walter Darter and Edna Augusta (Jackson) Darter was born May 23, 1949 in Cabool, Missouri.

She moved to Harrison 28 years ago from Cabool and attended Believer's Fellowship Church.  Doris enjoyed watching old TV shows and she loved to write letters. She was always her family's "go-to" person if they needed advice.  Doris loved the Lord and her family, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Edna Darter; her brothers, Hubert, George, Jerry and Harold Darter; and a sister, Dorothy Gaylor.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Darter of Harrison; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Rona Darter of Sparta, MO; her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Murray Paul Abrahamson of Cedar Hill, MO; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended relatives.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM, at Believer's Fellowship Church, 806 N. Chestnut, Harrison, Arkansas, 72601.  Bro. Dewey McGarrah will officiate.
