Donnie Clark, age 67 of Low Gap, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at his home. He was born January 23, 1942 at Low Gap, Arkansas to Wilburn and Beulah (Carlton) Clark. He was a member of the Low Gap Full Gospel Church and had retired from Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. after thirty-one years of loyal and dedicated service.
Donnie was a lifetime resident of Newton County.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Robbie Clark.
Survivors are his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marieta and Herman Villines of Low Gap and Diane and Michael Thompson of Harlington, Texas; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Janice Clark of Low Gap, Ken and Linda Clark of Low Gap, Larry and Ann Clark of Jasper, Allen and Chris Clark of Jasper, and David and Janet Clark of Low Gap; and 11 nieces and nephews, Vicky, Tammy, Bradley, Carrie, Shawna, Josh, Ashley, Kortnie, Whitney, Jo and Brian along with several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Low Gap Full Gospel Church with Donnie Villines and Bradley Clark officiating. Burial followed in the Low Gap Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, January 15, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers were Ricky Henderson, Roy Carter, Gerald James, Ruby Ray Carlton, Todd House and Charlie Parker. Honorary pallbearers were be great nieces and nephews.
