Donna Sue Patton, of Grand Prairie, Texas and formerly of Springfield, Missouri and Pyatt, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Mansfield Methodist Medical Center in Mansfield, Texas at the age of 80 years and 11 months old.

The only child of Thomas Wilson Hurst and Gladys (Frick) Hurst was born on January 29, 1942 in McCune, Kansas.

Donna and her husband, Duel Patton, lived and worked in Springfield, Missouri for many years while raising their two sons, Tommy and Douglas. She was a housewife and then worked for several years as a school bus aide in the Springfield Public School System. After they retired, Donna and Duel moved to and settled in Pyatt, Arkansas. When Duel passed away in 2010, Donna moved to Grand Prairie, Texas to live with her son, Douglas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duel Patton; and her parents.

Survivors include her two sons, Tom Patton (Jennifer Delacruz), of Springfield, MO, and Douglas Patton, of Grand Prairie, TX; twelve grandchildren, Christopher Patton, Kyron Patton, Karlye Thornhill, Joel Ash, Morgan Ash, Bailey Patton, Duel Patton, Denver Patton, Megan Duncan, Monica Dulaney, Jared Delacruz, and Justin Delacruz; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, January 6, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Funeral service is Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Burial will follow at the Patton Family Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tom, Douglas, Christopher, Duel, Denver, and Kyron Patton. Honorary pallbearers include Jamie Thornhill, Rodney Patton, Sammy Patton, Dewayne Due, Dane Due, and Damon Tabor.
