Donna Sue Nikkel, age 63 of Jasper, passed away Saturday August 22, 2020 at her home.

The daughter of Beecher and Nancy (Watson) Sams was born October 1, 1956.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Effie Evans and Dessie Taylor; and her brother Chester Sams.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Nikkel of Jasper; her son, Josh Nikkel and wife Lea of Harrison; her daughter, Sylvia Blanton and husband Chane of Harrison; her brother, Vester Sams of Roger, AR; her sisters, Geneva Laughter of Hinesville, AR, Orvis Laughter of Huntsville, AR, Helen Kollander of Jasper and Patsy Holder of Springdale, AR.

Donna is also survived by her grandchildren, Cory White, Corwin Blanton, Keeley Nikkel, Bayne Nikkel, and Alayna Nikkel.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Friday, August 28, 2020 at the Shiloh Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. James Compton and Rev. Billy Paul Matlock officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday at the Pavilion prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be Cory White, Corwin Blanton, David Atkinson, Delbert Taylor, Steve McAdams, and Mike Mills.

Honorary pallbearers are Rhonda Mills, Lea Nikkel, and the Staff of Buffalo Outdoors Center.
