Obituary
Donald J. Peters, age 71 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at his home.
The son of Herman Peters, Jr. and Susy (Klein) Peters was born December 30, 1942 at Mt. Lake, Minnesota.
Don was a member of Grace Christian Center. He was an avid railroad fan, collecting model trains and enjoying going to railroad museums.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Ruth Peters of the home; sons, DeWayne Peters and wife Barbara of Vinton, Virginia and Richard Allen Peters of Harrison; daughter, Terry Lynn Buffington and husband Richard of Helen, Georgia; brother, Roger Peters of St. James, Minnesota; sister, Lois Clipperton of Butterfield, Minnesota; granddaughter, Candis Buffington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home.
There will be a memorial service for Don at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Grace Christian Center in Harrison with Pastor Tim Phillips officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., prior to the service.
