Obituary
Donald Lawrence Hughes, age 84 of Jasper, AR, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at his home.
The son of William E. and Eula (Lawrence) Hughes was born September 26, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marge Hughes; daughter, Sandi Clagett; grandson, Rusty Archer; sister Wilma Goddard; and son-in-law, Tony Lemos.
Donald enjoyed reading and exploring caves.
He is survived by his daughter, Terry Archer-Lemos of Jasper, AR; his son Donnie Hughes and wife Lynette of Kansas City, Missouri; his son-in-law Kenway Clagett of Greenbrier, AR; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 5, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, AR with Brother Claud Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boxley, AR. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 P.M Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Hughes, Kenway Clagett, Austin Clagett, Tyler Clagett, Mark Bales and Gary Cone.
Honorary pallbearers are Lawrence Archer and Glenn Sattler.
