Donald A. Henderson, age 79 of Wayton, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at his home. He was born June 24, 1929 at Wayton, Arkansas, the son of Edgar Thee and Ova (Holland) Henderson.
He was a barber and a veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the Wayton United Baptist Church and the Wayton Masonic Lodge.
Donald and his wife, Goldie, moved back to Wayton about three years ago from Springdale, where they had lived for over 50 years.
His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Goldie (Reynolds) Henderson,whom he married November 26, 1952 at Wayton. Also surviving are his two sons, Allen Henderson and Mike Henderson both of Springdale; one daughter, Roxana Estep of Springdale; two sisters, Imogene Hicks of Wayton and Annabelle Villines of Lowell; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was Thursday, July 24, 2008 with services Friday, July 25th at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Bro. Loy Counts and Bro. James Kelly officiated. Burial followed in Wayton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gateley Henderson, Tanner Henderson, Brandon Morrell, Bryce Morrell, Gary Hicks, Hal Hicks, Erik Estep and Bryan Villines. Honorary pallbearers were, Jordan Kendrick, Connor Morrell, Petyon Sneed, Johnny carpenter and Jerry Polstom.
