Donald Ray Greenhaw, age 71 of Jasper, AR, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper.

The son of Lonnie Ray and Flora Ardella (Maupins) Greenhaw was born June 27, 1948 in Mt. Judea, AR.

He is preceded in death by his father and his mother who he loved very much and talked about all the time; and his sister, Venetta Louise Greenhaw.

Donald enjoyed watching old Western movies and being outdoors. He liked to eat chips and drink soda. He also enjoyed doing word search puzzles and playing Bingo. He was known as "Grandpa" at the nursing home.

His most favorite past time was listening to gospel music. His favorite song was "I'll Fly Away."

He is survived by his cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Anthony Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Judea Cemetery.

Visitation will start at 1:00 P.M. Thursday before the service.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
