Obituary
Donald Eugene Carter, age 78 passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Harry and Mabel (Eaton) Carter was born January 25, 1932 in Oklahoma.
He had moved to Newton County about 45 years ago from Missouri and had worked as a truck driver for the Newton County Road Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Melvin Carter and Bub Carter and three sisters, Carol Carter, Betty Glaze and Vivian Waggner.
Survivors are his children, Daniella Nikki Smith and husband, Johnny of Jasper, Arkansas, Angel Dawn Williams of Rogers, Arkansas, Terry Lynn Carter, Steven Dale Carter and James Lee Carter; four brothers, Joe Carter and wife, Coleen of Missouri, Jimmy Carter and wife, Dixie of Texas, Denny Carter and wife, Linda and Kenny Acres; two sisters, Patsy Zumwalt and Faye Lendnfelser and husband, Joe all of Seneca, Missouri; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Crossroads Cemetery at Deer.
