Obituary
Floyd Donald "Don" Tennison, age 61 of Hasty, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Hillcrest Home in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Matthew Asa Tennison, Jr. and Lela (Carter) Tennison was born the second of triplets, July 16, 1951 in Harrison.
Don loved attending church. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, attending family events, and the Boy Scouts. He also enjoyed meeting people and was very polite to all he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Cloyd Randall Tennison and Lloyd Ronald Tennison.
Survivors are four sisters, Shirley Starkey and husband, Rex of Hasty, Arkansas, Linda Foshee of Harrison, Arkansas, Loretta Tennison of Hasty, Arkansas, and Renee Kelly and her husband, Ken of Harrison, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and others who will mourn his passing.
Visitation was Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Service was Monday, April 29, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Bohannon officiating.
Burial followed in Sand Hill Cemetery with pallbearers being Mike Dixon, Allan Dixon, D.J. Hildreth, Jared Whiteside, Ben Kelly, and Christian Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were the Hillcrest Home staff and Pam Baker.
