Pastor Don F. Robinson, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at St. Joe, at the age of 75.

The son of James M. and Elsie (Potter) Robinson was born September 30, 1941 at Hindsville, Arkansas.

He spent several years living in Oklahoma pastoring the Etna Wesleyan Church, but Arkansas was always home.  He spent the last 10 years as pastor of Highland Wesleyan Church in Harrison.  He worked in maintenance for Big Cedar Apartments, and held a variety of jobs throughout his life.

Don enjoyed working with his hands and was a hard worker, but he was never too busy for his family or grandchildren.  He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He was a servant of the Lord, and was faithful until the end.  To his family, "Big Me" had shoes that can never be filled and he will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; a daughter, Deborah Robinson; a brother, Bill Robinson; and 3 brothers-in-law, Bob Lillie, Ken Flint and Larry Cook.

Don is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jean (Smith) Robinson of the home; 3 sons, Anthony Robinson of Colorado Springs, CO, Donnie and Cynthia Robinson of Springdale, AR, Chris and Kim Robinson of Pindall, AR; two daughters, April Rowley of Harrison, AR and Samantha and Buck Berg of Pawnee, OK; a brother, Jim Robinson of Harrison, AR; 3 sisters, Rosie Lillie of Farmington, AR; Ruthie Flint of Owasso, OK an Linda Cook of Springdale, AR; an aunt, Wandie Johnson of Sedalia, MO; 9 grandchildren, Bambi and Daniel Harris, Matthew and Tracy Grinder, Loretta and Andy Chavis, Richard Paul Rowley, Frances Berg, Tabitha Berg, Tony Robinson, Staci Strode, Stephanie and Zach Howell; 7 great grandchildren, James Benitez, Luke Benitez, Alex Rowley, Kalista Chavis, Aubri Chavis, Ross Grinder and Caleb Grinder; and special daughter, Dianne and Jim Keech of Kansas City, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Max Colaw officiating.  Burial will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Anthony Robinson, Donnie Robinson, Chris Robinson, Buck Berg, Matthew Grinder and Richard Paul Rowley.

Honorary pallbearers are Fred Cromer, Don Hoiser, Ron Olson and the congregations of Etna Wesleyan Church and Highland Wesleyan Church.
