Don Lester LaBonte, age 66 of Jasper, AR, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at his home.
The son of Lester and Evelyn (Lester) LaBonte was born February 13, 1952 in Stafford Springs, Connecticut.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dean LaBonte, and niece Summer Henderson.
Don was a Board Member of Mt. Sherman Fire Department. He was a Fire Fighter and part of the Search and Rescue. He was a First Responder CTO for Mt. Sherman Volunteer Fire Department. He lived in Jasper for 31 years and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He helped many people and was a strong part of the community. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Marie (Dillow) LaBonte of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Talisa LaBonte of Omaha, AR; his grandson, Cade LaBonte; daughter, Courtney LaBonte of CT and his nieces and nephews, Taylor Dillow, Blake Dillow, Jared Poyner, Blayne Parsons, Aliyah Parsons, Michael Jimmerson, Tyler Dillow, Krista Reddell, Nathan Case, Chasity Bryant, Nickie Henderson, Amber Smith, Emily Carney, Andy Bolin, David Lee Batten, Mike Dillow, Jerry Dillow, Nita Aldridge, Hannah Batten, and David Gregory Batten; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, AR.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 23, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Brother Tony Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Sherman Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Blake Dillow, Mike Dillow, Jerry Dillow, Jared Poyner, Terry Carney, and Will Aldridge.
Honorary pallbearers are Gerald Dillow, Tyler Dillow, Michael Jimmerson, James Farmer, Danny Smith, Nathan Case, Taylor Dillow, Blayne Parsons, Aliyah Parsons, Cade LaBonte, Andy Bolin, Chasity Bryant, Nickie Henderson, Emily Carney, Amber Smith, Krista Reddell, Mt. Sherman Fire Dept, Harrison Fire Dept, and Glen Wheeler Search and Rescue.
