Dixie L. Rowe, 72 of Lead Hill, Arkansas passed through Heaven's open gate on April 4, 2018 in Hollister, Missouri.
Dixie was the daughter of Richard John and Mildred (Balph) Rowe, born July 26, 1945 in Denver, Colorado. She was educated and lived in Arvada, Colorado for many years. She had several interesting jobs, but excelled in those of quality control. Upon retirement, she and her husband, Donald E. Rowe, Sr., relocated to Boone County where they became active members of the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and younger brother, Edwin.
Dixie is survived by her sisters, Pat Wills and husband Jim of Lead Hill and Margie Miller and husband Bill of Tigard, OR; an aunt, Nellie Ladwig of Arvada, CO; her loving nieces, Shirleen Joha of Golden, CO, De Anna Boushele of Cheyenne, WY, Debbie George and Alaina Long of Tigard, OR, Cherie Beck of Sunnyvale, CO, and Randie, Angela and Crystal all of CO; her nephew, Justin Rowe of OR; longtime and faithful friends, Mary and Benny McVey; they head up a list of many friends, neighbors and relatives from as far away as England to the west coast of America who will hold dear the cherished memories of a humorous and generous, God-loving, Dixie.
Don't weep for her, she wants us to keep our fork for the best is yet to come. Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and we will see her in her brand new body and happier than any of us can imagine.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in her honor to Hospice of the Hills, the Kidney Foundation or Gideon's.
