Obituary
Dewey Junior Busby, age 72 of Harrison, originally of Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Harrison. The son of Dewey and Lula Busby, was born July 30, 1935 in Idabel, Oklahoma.
He had worked as a night watchman for a Cotton Gin Company and he loved going to church and fishing.
His parents preceded him in death along with a brother, George Albert Busby.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Busby of the home; two sons, Roger Dale White of Forney, Texas and Carl James White of Kentucky; four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Beth and John Rollison of Blair, AR, Thelma Marie Peters of Forney, TX, Patricia and Brad Shears of Kentucky, and Diana Kay and Fenton Allen of Texas; three brothers, Jesse and James Busby of Oklahoma and Melvin Busby of Texas; one sister Carolyn Jones and husband, David of Malvern, AR; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be open at Coffman Funeral Home on Thursday between 9AM and 5 PM. Service is Friday,1:00 PM at Gilbert Christian Church with burial to follow at Gilbert Cemetery. Charles Christian will officiate.
Pallbearers are: Thomas White, Roger White, Carl White, Donnie Busby, Danny Baker, John Alford, Darrell Helton, and Johnny Busby.
Honorary Pallbearers are David Jones, Joe Alford, and Terry Adams.
