DeVoe Arthur Wilson, age 68 of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.

The son of Elmer and Hattie (Gentry) Wilson was born July 2, 1942 in Pindall, Arkansas.

DeVoe enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns and the outdoors. He had a lot of friends and was a beloved father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, DeVonda Martin; his brothers, Gene Watson, Douglas Wilson and Ralph Watson; and his sisters, Rudean King, Demoe Willis and Ruby
Wilson.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Christine Cowdrey of Harrison; his sons, Douglas Wilson and wife Melissa of Yellville and Dennis Wilson and wife Gloria of Harmon; his daughter, DeWanda Wilson of Western Grove; his son-in-law, Jeff Martin of Vendor; and his former wife, Dorothy Berringer of Pindall; his grandchildren, Eric Wilson, Clayton Wilson , Colby Wilson, Brady Wilson, Taylor Martin, Trey Martin, Sarah Wilson, and Cara Wilson.

Funeral Service was Friday, November 5, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Burial followed in Anderson Flat Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Colby Wilson, Brady Wilson, Eric Wilson, Clayton Wilson, Jeff Martin and Phillip Greenhaw.

Honorary pallbearers were Kirk Bolin, Mark Casey, Employees of Claridge and the staff of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Anderson Flat Cemetery Fund.
