Iris Verdina "Deno" Smith, age 81 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Saturday September 12, 2015 in Springfield, Missouri.
The daughter of Harland and Ruby (Raynor) Rea was born on July 8, 1934 in Harrison, Arkansas.
Deno loved to sew, yard sale and enjoyed going to her grandson's football games.
She was preceded by her parents; two sisters, Trellis Lott and Catherine Mallet; and one grandson, Zach Smith.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Villines and wife Terry of Lead Hill, Arkansas and Rick Sharp of Mena, Arkansas; two daughters, Cheryl Davis and husband Mark of Hollister, Missouri and Missy Gilley and husband Kenny of Harrison; 6 grandchildren, Willie Sharp, Cora Villines, Kenneth Villines, Grayson Eubanks, Tanner Eubanks and Chris Bunch; several great-grandchildren and many others who will mourn her passing.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday September 16 at 1:00 pm at Crossroads Church in Harrison. Brother Johnny Walters will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 904 Autumn Road, Suite 500, Little Rock, AR 72211.
