Dennis Ray Young, age 62 of Harrison, AR passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 in Harrison.
The son of Herman and Alice (Akins) Young, was born September 21, 1945 in Harrison.
Dennis had worked for Wal-Mart and was of the Methodist faith.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Connie (Van Brocklin) Young; and a brother, Jerry Young.
Survivors are his step-son, Quentin Connell, of Conway; step-daughter and her husband, Sheila Connell Grooms and Chad Grooms, of Queen Creek, AZ; grandsons, Anthony Connell, of the home and Tristin Grooms; granddaughters, Lindsey and Abigail Grooms; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Richard Taylor, of Springfield, MO; a niece, Amanda Young; and nephews, Michael Young and Jesse Taylor. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Memorial service was Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the funeral home chapel. Honorary pallbearers were the employees of Wal-Mart third shift.
