Dennis D. Carter's Obituary
Dennis Dale Carter, of Compton, Arkansas passed away at home on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the age of 75.
The son of Volney R. and Wanda G. (Sims) Carter was born in Gary, Indiana on September 20, 1941.
He was a retired volunteer fire fighter from Compton Volunteer Fire Department. He was an employee at Harrison Schools, working in the transportation department for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Anita Carter of the home; sons, Matthew L. Carter (Sherry) of Harrison and Justin L. Carter of Compton; daughter, Lisa M. Carter of Compton; 3 grandchildren, Brittany, Vicki and Malachi; special friends and neighbors, Garland and Robin Matlock, and his Harrison School transportation friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at County Line Baptist Church in Compton.
Cremation under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home; on-line condolences may be left at coffmanfh.com.
