Delphia Marieta Villines, age 86 of Jasper, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.

The daughter of Wilburn and Beulah (Carlton) Clark was born May 6, 1936, in Low Gap, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman Villines; brother, Donnie Clark; sister-in-law, Charlene Clark; her nephews, Robbie Clark, Bryan McCutcheon; and her nephew-in-law, Patrick Rhodes.

Rita loved to cook, can, garden, quilt, and babysit her nieces and nephews.  She especially loved to cook for family and people who were sick.  She was a master cinnamon roll maker and made them for fundraisers all over Newton County.  She loved her chickens and bottle-feeding baby calves.

There was never a time that Herman and Rita's doors were not open to invite you into their home.  Rita served home-cooked meals for many and loved to visit with friends and family.  She had a giving heart and was devoted to caring for others.  She loved her Lord and Savior and she was ready to meet Jesus.

Rita is survived by her brothers, Robert (Bob) Clark and Janice Nichols, Kenneth Clark (Linda), Larry Clark (Ann), Allen Clark (Chris), and David Clark (Janet); her sister, Diane Thompson (Michael); 9 nieces and nephew; 24 great nieces and nephews; and 13 great great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special thank you to her friend, Donna Bolin; and many special friends and loved ones that she spoke to daily; Dr. Brent Rosson, Holly Johnson, the staff at NARMC, and the staff of Hillcrest Rehab.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the Low Gap Full Gospel Church with Pastors, Kelvin House, Brad Clark, and James Compton officiating. Burial will follow in Low Gap Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to7:30 PM, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Smith, Josh Ganey, Todd House, Yancey Terry, Joey Cornelius, and Cody Clark.

Honorary pallbearers are all her nieces and nephews; Tim Carlton, Randy Keef, Tim Gilley, and Kendall Shelton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Low Gap Full Gospel Church and Cemetery Fund.
